Terms of use
These terms govern your use of guardianresearch.io. The site is a single informational page and the legal pages that sit behind it. Read these terms before relying on anything you find here.
Who operates this site
Guardian Research LLC ("Guardian", "we", "us") is a limited liability company organised in Utah and based in Lehi, Utah, United States. You can reach us at matthew@guardianresearch.io.
What this site is
This site has two parts. The first is a library of written research that Guardian publishes and licenses to firms, listed with what each item covers and what it costs on the institutions page. Those are publications: the same document goes to every firm that licenses it, none of it is written around any buyer's portfolio or circumstances, and licensing one creates no relationship beyond the licence itself.
The second is a description of the continuing work Guardian does for a small number of institutions. That work is described here and is not offered here. There is no form anywhere on this site and no checkout. Anything Guardian does for an institution begins from an existing relationship and a signed written agreement.
No advice and no offer
Nothing on this site, and nothing in any publication listed on it, is investment advice, a recommendation that any security, fund, strategy, or course of action is suitable for any person, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security or interest in any fund. Guardian's publications are impersonal research: each is written about funds and managers rather than about a reader, the same document is licensed to every firm that buys it, and none of it is tailored to any buyer's portfolio, objectives, or circumstances. Guardian is not registered as an investment adviser or as a broker-dealer with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission or with any state securities regulator, and it does not hold itself out to the public as an investment adviser. No performance information, track record, rating, or client outcome is presented on this site, and none should be inferred from it.
No relationship is created
Reading this site creates no adviser-client, fiduciary, professional, or contractual relationship with Guardian. Sending us an email creates no such relationship either. Any engagement Guardian enters into is governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties, and only that agreement defines what Guardian does, for whom, and on what terms.
Content and marks
The text, structure, and design of this site belong to Guardian Research LLC or to its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. The Guardian Research name is our mark. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or to any system behind it, probe or test its security without permission, use automated means to place an unreasonable load on it, or use it to send anything unlawful. If you believe you have found a security issue, the security page explains how to tell us.

No warranty and limitation of liability
The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a purpose, or uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent the law allows, Guardian Research LLC and its members are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from the use of or inability to use this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may change these terms. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect, and using the site after that date means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the state and federal courts sitting in Utah County, Utah have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
